3. TERMS APPLICABLE TO EVENT ORGANISERS
3.1 Event Content and Responsibility
Event Organisers are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy, completeness, and legality of Event content;
- Ensuring all information is up to date;
- Compliance with applicable UK laws and professional standards.
3.1A External Links and Off-Platform Registrations
Event Organisers are discouraged from including external links, URLs, or references directing users to register, purchase tickets, or make payments outside the BookCPD Platform.
In particular, links to third-party registration pages, payment pages, ticketing systems, or alternative booking mechanisms that bypass the BookCPD registration and payment process are generally not permitted.
BookCPD reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
- remove or disable such links or content without notice;

3.4 Fees and Charges
3.4.1 Event Organisers may determine whether applicable payment processing fees and charges are to be absorbed by the Event Organiser or passed on to Delegates, as configured during event setup.
3.4.2 BookCPD shall be entitled to charge and retain service fees, administrative fees, and other applicable charges, including but not limited to fees associated with payment processing, platform usage, and the handling of cancellations and refunds. Details of such charges and fees are published transparently on the Website under the relevant “Charges and Fees” section, as may be updated from time to time.
3.4.3 BookCPD shall collect payments from Delegates via third-party payment processors and shall remit such funds to the Event Organiser upon receipt of a valid payout request, subject always to applicable deductions, verification requirements, risk assessments, and internal processing timelines.
3.4.4 For first-time Event Organisers, or in circumstances where BookCPD has not, in its sole and absolute discretion, established a satisfactory level of trust, transaction history, or risk profile, BookCPD reserves the right to:
- withhold full payout of ticket revenues until completion of the Event; and
- release only partial payments, if any, prior to the Event.
3.4.5 In such cases, the remaining balance of funds shall be released no earlier than seven (7) days following completion of the Event, subject to any applicable deductions, disputes, chargebacks, or claims.
3.4.6 For repeat Event Organisers, or where BookCPD has established a satisfactory level of trust and transaction history, BookCPD may, at its sole discretion, make substantially full payout of ticket revenues available prior to the Event, typically once the applicable cancellation window has closed. In such cases, BookCPD may retain a limited portion of funds as a reserve solely for the purpose of processing cancellations, refunds, chargebacks, or adjustments.
3.4.7 BookCPD reserves the right at all times to implement rolling reserves, holdbacks, delayed payouts, or other risk mitigation measures where reasonably required to manage financial, fraud, regulatory, or operational risk.
